For those of you who don’t know me well…and even some who do…I am a HUGE fan of Flight Simulators. Four days ago I decided it was time to do something I had always thought about doing, but never really pursued. Take a round the world tour in Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X (FSX). So, with a fresh install of FSX, a new joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro) and other miscellaneous pre-flight tasks, I took to the skies. Starting this Blog was an afterthought and therefore the first few flights of my journey won’t be recorded here in standard fashion. I will, however, list their basic details to have a complete record of travel:

August 15, 2011
Flight Plan: Los Angeles Intl. to San Diego Intl.

Tail Number: N17284
Total Flying Hours: 0.8

August 16, 2011

August 17, 2011

Aircraft Make and Model: Cessna 172S Skyhawk
Tail Number: N17284

August 24, 2011

Today I flew from Adams to Fortman (St. Mary’s, OH)…I’ll blog about that one later this evening.

Well, I hope this is entertaining for some of you…I know it certainly is good entertainment for me, and maybe it will encourage a few of you to join the Flight Sim rage. Comments and questions are always welcome.
